Shadow commissioners cabal silently changes rules to spite Davos

The powers that be railed against what they perceive to be the insular globalist elite in Davos, by punishing local team HC Davos Dynamo during this season's VHL trade deadline week. The ironically unelected and historically lacking in independent oversight and checks and balances VHL Commissioner team - known to friends and conspiracy theorists alike as the "Blue Team" - secretly changed the VHL rulebook without the customary announcement as established by long-standing league protocol in what is the clearest signal yet of deep-rooted favouritism and bias within the highest circle of the VHL establishment.

As a result, Davos' mid-season trade for UghSike, a left winger drafted fifth overall in S93 but inactive since September 2024, was thrown into disarray when GM Alex Johnston's attempt switch of UghSike to the defenceman position was overruled by a rule stealthily inserted by the "Blue Team" at an unknown point in the recent past which bans mid-season position changes. Such blatant disregard for custom and appropriate due process has caused significant consternation in the Swiss resort but it appears that it will up to the Dynamo to deal with the restriction as best they can and hope this public example at least is taken as a lesson learned for the future. For how long can the commissioners' cabal continue to be held completely unaccountable for its actions? In whose benefit do they act and what ultimate power do they serve? Perhaps the UghSike scandal of S96 will be the first thread which leads their web of lies and deceit to unravel.
