Predicting the Next VHL Continental Cup Winners

 

The Next Winners

 

This article will talk about who I think will win the next VHL Continental Cup for multiple seasons. There will be straight up 0 research involved and I'm going to legit just be picking on who I think will win. If you are looking for a more research backed article, this is not it. I'm going off of feeling and after a while, it will be straight guessing. How about we get this started!

 

Season 98: Vancouver Wolves

Description: The reason I picked Vancouver is I feel like this season, they were very good and just got unlucky with the Wildcard becoming all Wayne Gretzky's. They're really only losing a depth piece and a lot of their roster is locked up for a while, plus they've got a younger roster. I feel like this team could do a lot of damage and are set up extremely well for the future. Their name could appear a couple times on the list, that's for sure.

 

Season 99: Vancouver Wolves
Description: Yet again, I'm picking the Vancouver Wolves for a back to back. Honestly, there are a couple of teams that I feel like could be winning here, but I'm going to go with a lucky repeat. Then again, this has 0 research into it and we all know some random team is going to probably win and/or take down Vancouver in the process.

 

Season 100: Moscow Menace

Description: What better way to cap off 100 seasons in the league with Spartan winning his second cup. I feel like it would be poetic and honestly, EU has to win eventually. Moscow always does well and I feel like they're due for another cup, even though they won one not too long ago.

 

Season 101: Prague Phantoms

Description: Yep, I'm going to randomly say Prague is going to win in S101. They've got a young core and lots of great prospects and they should be competing by this time. With the right luck, I feel like they could potentially win the cup and shock the world. They've got a great GM and some great young players, so I could see it happen in the future.

 

Season 102: Los Angeles Stars

Description: It finally happens, the young players on LA stick around and IR is able to secure himself a cup. If this draft that he had not too long ago pans out, he could be loaded for the future and I'll say here it finally pays off. If he can keep around the squad, they've got a great shot at winning.

 

Season 103: Seattle Bears

Description: We're finally getting to the point where I could put any team and make it seem justified. I'm going to go with Seattle winning and this finally means Bana steps down here. However, he could not be in charge at this point, but I'll still give Seattle a win. Why not?

 

Season 104: Warsaw Predators

Description: The curse is finally over. N0h finally is able to win himself a cup with a legacy run in the playoffs where his team somehow goes from wildcard to cup champions (sound familiar). I believe he's going to eventually win one and this is when he's going to do it.

 

Season 105: New York Americans

Description: New York finally breaks the curse in S105. I'm starting to put down teams that haven't won in a while and/or are cursed as I feel like at some point, STHS will favor them and get them a cup. You cannot torture them for too long!

 

Season 106: London United

Description: Baby Boomer is a great guy and what better way to reward him than with a cup? They'll win the cup here and Baby Boomer will secure himself a championship for London. Maybe by this time they'll have a different logo?

 

Season 107: HC Davos Dynamo

Description: Yep, gotta give Ahma a cup. He's going to win another one eventually and might as well put it here. I have no clue how the timelines line up, but he'll somehow be on the team to win it, even if he's like 300 TPE.

 

Season 108: Riga Reign
Description: The new Riga GM will finally get themselves a cup. It's not going to be easy, but give them some time and they'll finally end up with a cup. We have no clue who the GM is, but whoever it is at this time will win it all!

Ironically Ahma will be in the M this season lol
