S98 VHLM 6-10 MOCK DRAFT

Well I didn't really plan on doing 6-10 but that was kind of fun! That being said let's get into it! 

 

 

 

                 6. Saskatoon Wild 

 

    I know in my last article I mentioned the Wild getting Mancini as well. Since writing that maybe I let my bias of sharing a locker room with this guy take over, and to me I think it makes more sense for them due to only having 1 defensemen (if they go D at 4). All that being said I believe the Wild will go with another D man Additional Pylons @courtjestr19. I know I said bias but the reality is Pylons is a very hungry guy willing to earn all the tpe, and he is also a great locker room guy! The 6'7" 250 pound defensemen joined late in the year and played 4 games in Miami finishing +2 in +/-. During that time Pylons has earned 168 tpe and from my experience with him I think he will be a max earner for his career Paired up with a 6'8" Tzesar that will be a scary combination for opposing teams to face in the coming years 

 

 

 

              7. San Diego Marlins 

 

    Sitting at 7 is San Diego who like Huston faces an issue with not having a goalie. With 3 goalies in the same range of picks I think they could go with a different position here and I think they will do just that by taking center Zara Wolf! @Banackock this 6'1" 196 pound Canadian is ran by @Banackock who's name I see A LOT be it the forum or reddit. Again being my first year I don't know other peoples past players but my gut tells me wolf is gonna be a consistent max earner and hall of famer. I might even be disrespectful in having him this far down. I think wolff being on a line with Cardinal Copia who is ran by another name I see A LOT @Beketov will be a dangerous combination for teams to go against this year making San Diego a top contender!

 

        8. Halifax 21st 

    After a great year that seen Halifax just fall short losing to Las Vegas In the finals I think they will be looking to add some more firepower to get over that hump and win a championship! I think due to early teams needing defense or goalies and my personal bias. This guy is a steal as far down as 8 and could easily go higher. That being said I think Halifax will select the Italian left winger Lorenzo Mancini @GioSivo at 6'1" and 184 pounds Mancini joined the Las Vegas Aces late last season playing 24 games logging 2 goals and 4 assists. Mancini and the aces won the championship and Mancini posted another 3 goals and 4 assists during the 16 games! So far Mancini has earned 187 TPE, he will also bring the championship mindset having won in his first year! A great addition for Halifax to head back to the finals 

 

  9. Mississauga Hounds

    Like other teams on this list the Hounds find themselves without a goalie. Fortunately for them they will have a couple to choose from sitting at pick 9. They could go back to whiteknight who played 40 games  for them last season. However I don't think they will and I think the Hounds go with 6'8" Komi Kamal @dustywilson22 Kamal has earned 120 TPE so far and has not played any games in the Leauge I think a fresh face in net will be a good thing for Mississauga and a good first step in turning things around for the future ! 

 

        10. Halifax 21st 

    Rounding out the top 10 picking again is Halifax! Why not pair Mancini up with Another Italian born player? I think Halifax select Nick Sansoe jr @Tipskid97. Appearing in 36 games for Saskatoon last season this 6'2" 180 pound winger put up 12 goals and 9 assists and during that time has earned 156 TPE. I think adding both Sansoe jr and Mancini will be a great way to add some fire power and continue to be a top contender in the VHLM
