jRuutu 2,531
Jorgen Lovstrom, a star goalie and a key player for Helsinki Titans, was heard describing a VHL staff member from the marketing department as "tyrannical", "bully" and " a bad influence". Jorgen also mentioned the VHL staff member offered them drugs instead of hugs. What would normally be a PR disaster was cleverly saved by Jorgen with the mention of "I'm jk" - the 90's version of "In Minecraft", which showed Jorgen was just joking around. Everything was going smoothly as Jorgen finished their speech by saying they love the VHL staff member, but then things took a surprising turn for the worse as Jorgen also added: "and any drugs he may or may not offer in the future!". Jorgen is out in the open indirectly asking whether the VHL staff member has drugs and if they have - Jorgen would not mind having some. It has been reported teams around the VHL are calling for an investigation on Jorgen Lovstrom. The loudest voices are coming in from the Moscow Menace camp, which is not surprising as Helsinki could very well be the team to cause the most problems in the EU division for Moscow during the upcoming season. A spokesperson of Moscow Menace stated: "With sad hearts, we are reading and hearing the words of Jorgen Lovstrom, a star goalie of Helsinki Titans and a fan favorite of many around VHL. Moscow Menace does not approve the use of drugs and we wish VHL does not approve the use of drugs either. We are not asking for a suspension for a full season as we hope Jorgen Lovstrom gets the help they need to overcome whatever they are going through. Moscow Menace as an organization is willing to do whatever it takes to help Lovstrom. At the same time, we are asking for some kind of punishment, ideally, 10+ games to show VHL does not tolerate this type of behavior". Whispers coming in from the Moscow Menace organization state they are going to use this article as further proof that the words of Jorgen Lovstrom clearly violate the VHL Code of Conduct section 1.5: Drama, Fighting, and Trolling as the author of this article has taken the bait presented by Jorgen Lovstrom. The words of Jorgen have reportedly spiraled the author of this article to feel a world of emotions nobody should have to feel. It is believed the extra evidence and proof could end up raising the potential suspension from 10+ games requested by rival organizations to a suspension of a full season. For Helsinki Titans losing a player like Jorgen Lovstrom would be a massive hit. Still, on the bright side rookie Draw Mac has all the potential to be an elite-level goalie in VHL, so just so it happens Helsinki is forced to play a full season without Lovstrom, Mac would get valuable experience at the highest level. For VHL losing a player like Jorgen Lovstrom would be bad news, but then again not punishing a star player of VHL would also send the wrong message. LucyXpher 1,937
I think an 8 game suspension seems fitting, that way Helsinki can get the correct number of backup games in and everybody is happy Xhekityb123, Triller, Rin and 3 others 1 3 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/155342-lovstrom-facing-a-lengthy-suspension-helsinki-in-trouble/#findComment-1054700 Share on other sites
