I like the logo swap but most of all, the removal of the NHL branding. The color gradient effect at the bottom looks good and adds to the surreal vibe this gives off. Your render is very detailed, but I wish he wasn't hidden with the particle effect as much as he is. Maybe a mask and brush out a bit on his face would have given a proper focal point. I like the text, it is placed well for this design. I like it.
