How about that, Riga makes it to the conference finals. An underdog against the mighty Moscow team. We split the first two games and waiting for the next two to be played while I am writing this. If we can grab another win, it would turn this into a the hard fought series that would benefit Riga. Having played for Moscow, I know they are laser focused on winning the cup. Being on Riga, we look forward to the challenge. Stranger things have happened. From the ashes, Riga has become a cup contender. I won't rehash how we got to this position with our new GM. We just lace them up and give it our all. Even the aging Gunner still has a few tricks in the playoffs. I hope for a long series and one that showcases each teams strength. I feel the winner of this series will go on and win the cup. I think I say that during every series I have been in, but this one seems like the real deal. Time will tell.
