In game 4 we seen Houston bounce back after being shut out for the first time in the post season and now its a 3 game series. Houston's offense has been relatively stifled to this point only getting 2 goals in 3 games, fortunately the goaltending for them as well has been good enough to allow 2 goals to be enough in 2 games. The real question is can Halifax continue to suppress this Bulls offense which ran rampant on the league in the regular season? Can Halifax Goalie keep them in the game? Game 5 recap starts now....

We start off with a relatively tame first period, Wolfgang Muhlenkamp picks up a penalty for High sticking that turns into a nothingburger.  Halifax gets a chance when Kyle Kyleson picks up a roughing minor, which Darko Alexander Malkovich Sr offsets 50 seconds later, the shots end up 5 to 6 in favor of the Bulls as both teams are feeling each other out.

Second period doesn't seem much action until Shot Blocker for Halifax picks up a tripping call at 5:07, Houston jumps on the chance and nets another Power Play Goal, this time Jack Jack gets his first of the post season as a Robin Sierra(5) shot is blocked and leaks out for the point man to get the goal, Dog Jagr(8) gets the secondary assist. Falling behind sees Halifax begin to open up a bit in an attempt to draw even, but Cardinal Copia(5) adds to the lead with a crisp pass from Jack Jack (11) allows him to fire home a snap shot and the home crowd are loving what the are seeing in Houston. With less than 5 left in the 2nd Feka Ohi Kau(12a) pinches a puck on the boards and gets hit by Darko Alexander, but he managed to chip the puck forward to Gingy who skates it up and finds some space to fire in his 5th of the playoffs and put Houston up a comfortable 3-0. The 3rd goal causes Chad Powers to get the hook, and the fans are letting him hear it in Houston. Shots for the period 8-7 Halifax, but 3 goals on 7 shots has Halifax looking a little defeated.

The frustration begins to boil over early in the 3rd as Shot blocker takes a hooking penalty as Halifax zone break in isn't working and they are not generating any shots, its all Houston this period, Zara Wof and Floridaman get tagged for penalties as well, Houston adds a 4th from Hunter S(6g) from Dog Jagr(9a) and Gingy(9a). Houston puts 14 more shots on back up Kim Chi as Bartholomew Lorequavius gets himself a shutout and Houston win 4-0.

We are making the trek from Houston to Halifax and the Cup will be in the building. Houston up 3-2 going into game 6!
