In a surprising turn of events, after just about everyone left Toronto for dead, they have gone on a tear, winning five in a row including three in a row against teams currently in playoff positions.  The streak began with a commanding 6-2 victory of the Stockholm Vikings while their most recent win was a 6-3 handling of the Wranglers that further helped their surviving playoff chances.  While the playoffs are still only a very slim possibility and overcoming Calgary would be a major surprise, it is safe to say that they have a team that can play with the league's best.

Over this streak, the Legion have outscored their opponents by an incredible 28-14.  To put that into perspective, they have won each game by an average of 5.6 goals to 2.8, a truly dominant stretch, especially considering the teams they have gone up against.  If they can keep this up, they will come into the playoffs as hot as anyone and once you're in, anything can happen.
