Ninetyfourgoalie 168 Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 In a surprising turn of events, after just about everyone left Toronto for dead, they have gone on a tear, winning five in a row including three in a row against teams currently in playoff positions. The streak began with a commanding 6-2 victory of the Stockholm Vikings while their most recent win was a 6-3 handling of the Wranglers that further helped their surviving playoff chances. While the playoffs are still only a very slim possibility and overcoming Calgary would be a major surprise, it is safe to say that they have a team that can play with the league's best. Over this streak, the Legion have outscored their opponents by an incredible 28-14. To put that into perspective, they have won each game by an average of 5.6 goals to 2.8, a truly dominant stretch, especially considering the teams they have gone up against.
