Boston’s Esposito Declares for VHLM By Bubba Dudley david_pastrnak_sodertalje.jpg Boston’s latest big deal Larry Esposito is headed to the developmental system of the world-renowned Victory Hockey League. The VHL has now been competing in North America with the NHL and many sports historians now say the two entities have created the finest era of the “big four” sports of all-time; from a media outreach viewpoint. Larry Esposito is only 18 years old, and there are many local scouts who are curious about the youngster’s decision to immediately go for the gold in the VHLM as opposed to playing in the junior circuit. Esposito’s representatives emphatically express the knowledge that they believe their young client will draw a lot of attention in the VHL. If this doesn’t come to fruition, it of course only takes one team to like what they see in a work out and suddenly Esposito will be in the driver’s seat. These initial reports don’t mention any organizations specifically interested in Esposito, but there was suggestive language used in the official press release. As of the time of this publication, we can confirm that the VHLM offices approved Esposito’s paperwork, and he is officially a member of the VHLM universe. Network experts and amateur bloggers alike are suggesting that Esposito would be eligible for the VHL Draft in time for their 43rd season. Esposito is the definition of a project player. He requires a lot of special attention, for a multitude of reasons. One is of course his age, while he’s considered to be mature for 18 the fact of the matter is that he’s still only 18. Another reason why he has to be carefully groomed is there are reports of Esposito struggling with personal issues off of the ice. He seems to fall into lulls where he doesn’t love the game of hockey, which rightfully is a red flag to many teams. It’s worth noting however that while at one point Esposito reportedly told his friends he no longer loved hockey, it was four years ago when he was a freshman. Since then, there were no reports of him not wanting to play professional hockey for a job as opposed to the traditional method taken on by most people. Then again, most people don’t have a rocket shot and the ability to float around on the ice like a majestic butterfly like Esposito does. davidpastrnak_ssk.jpgEsposito could be a heterosexual male figure skater once his playing days are over. While Larry has raw talent, there are other concerns within the people he keeps close to him. While he surely didn’t grow up in a rough neighborhood or anything like that, Esposito has aligned himself with questionable representation. His agent, Johnny Blaze, has an incredible reputation for representing hockey players who end up being busts and flash in the pan types. Every single player that Blaze has represented in the VHL thus far has inexplicably fallen off of the map at one point in their career with little to no explanation as to why. This surely will catch the attention of every organization in the VHLM as well as the VHL. It’s going to be extremely difficult for the young Esposito to be trusted by any organization as long as he’s represented by the infamous Johnny Blaze. While there are red flags about him, there is no denying the raw ability that Larry Esposito possesses. The right winger checks in at 6’5” and nearly 230 pounds, meaning he’s not going to be easily pushed around on the ice. To have such size at the age of 18 means that he may even continue to grow into his freakishly large build and become a real threat to be a top-line player once he matures. Expect Esposito to spend a considerable amount of time in the VHLM, but once he’s joined the VHL he will be ready to play at the next level and impress a lot of people.

Good luck! Hopefully Esposito isn't a flash in the pan.  We can always use more VHL superstars.

I got to you last so I didn't look too closely, but I didn't catch any blaring issues.

Dry but effective.
