Rookie Duo Powering Vikings

STOCKHOLM - After a lackluster campaign in Season 41, few really knew what to expect from the Stockholm Vikings in Season 42. With few proven veterans on the team and a crop of rookies joining the fold, it seemed like more of the same was coming, although with a better goalie in Blaine Olynick on board. However, through the first 24 games, Stockholm has already eclipsed their win total from last year with a 13-11 record, good for 26 points and a tie for second in the European Conference. But perhaps more surprisingly, two rookies in Lord Karnage and Mario De Rossi are paving the way with their production.

"The two of them have really exceeded all expectations," said General Manager Benoit Prevost. "They've really stepped it up and become the positive forces for this team. Joseph Roy III and Jax Barnstormer have also really done well too, I really couldn't be any happier with our rookie class."

The Vikings will face a tough test in the Seattle Bears in their next two contests, with both teams getting a game at home. Both teams have the same record and could really use the separation wins would get them in these games.
