Campbell feels good

When we look where he started and the trouble he had in finding a team and then playing games to where he has come now, it's an astonishing matter. Back up goalie turned starter for the Brampton Blades, his development pace has been a major factor to his success as his career started a bit later than most of his fellow junior players. Last season, his performance was extremely weak and how he was treated left him a tad on the bitter side of things.

"It was a learning experience. I wouldn't call myself bitter, just negative reinforcing myself to push myself towards becoming positive. I know that in order to be a starter, you have to earn your stripes. I did an entire season as a back up, so it feels good to take off the leash and run with it. I'm behind an excellent team. Not always have I been on my game. It's something I have to work on - not letting in those weak goals".
