In the lottery, the worst scenario occurred, as a team with a better record than them moved up to 1, bumping the Wranglers all the way down to 3. Calgary also possesses Quebec's and Cologne's S43 1sts, both of whom are now advancing to the finals, meaning Calgary will have the lowest pick scenario possible with picks 3, 9, and 10. It's a risk you take when trading picks to good teams, but not one the Wranglers are happy about at all. These three picks are very important in being the core of the Wrangler's rebuild, and it hurts to have them be so low.
