Tyrone was a highly touted prospect drafted 11th overall by the Quebec City Meute back in S39. He was traded to Riga as a prospect but never played a game for them. He was then traded to Stockholm where he played with Lindberg and put up an amazing rookie season amassing 53 goals and 101 points. After that he kind of fell off into the deep end and stopped training. He sat as a free agent. That is until now, last night the struggling Riga Reign signed Williams to a contract for the remainder of the season. Everyone is unsure if Williams plans to continue his career as he only has 3 seasons left after this one, but he has started training again to make himself a better player. We are also unsure of his intentions whether he'd like to stay in Riga or move on after this season if he does decide to play out his career. Either way it's good to see a player coming back into the league and giving it another shot!
