It's not due to the fact of the team losing, (because they aren't), but rather trade rumors going around. He isn't quite sure where they stemmed from but just doesn't want to be a part of it. It all starts somewhere and while he doesn't know where, he doesn't intend to find out where. He just wants to distance himself from it all and focus on the Finals that are coming up. No one knows who the GM will be next season and no one knows what direction the team will go in. This is a team that has no draft picks this year or next really. So it's going to be hard for talent to come through unless it's through free agency. While he would like for a decision to be made, he doesn't want to press any further into this investigation. He will let it run until a resolution is found. The playoffs are still going and that's the only thing that matters. The real question is should he stay or should he go? Maybe the retiring had something to do what that? Not quite sure. It could have been me, or anyone else on the team or in the league. Just speculation right now. But that could also be the motive.
