As some of you may have listened to, me and Streetlight recorded a podcast where we talked about our Award Predictions for the upcoming season. This article will look at how right our predictions were:

 

Championship - Continental Cup: Stockholm Vikings

Seems legit, I mean they're in the lead right?

Best Regular Season Record - Victory Cup: Quebec City Meute

Well, they're one point behind, so they're in first place in my book
North American Conference Champion - Devon Marlow-Marta Trophy: Seattle Everblades

Do not doubt the Everblades, spellcheck puts a red line under them for a season
European Conference Champion - Terence Fong Trophy: Stockholm Rams

They continue to be the greatest show on turf
MVP - Scotty Campbell Trophy: Tyler Cote

He currently leads his team in fights tied, that's pretty much MVP material right there.
Playoff MVP - Daisuke Kanou Trophy: Benjamin Glover

Playoffs haven't even started yet, but I'm still 100% confident with this answer
Leading Points - Mike Szatkowski Trophy: Tom Slaughter

If you add his PIMS and hits to his points, he leads the league. Barely though.
Leading Goals - Kevin Brooks Trophy: Lionel Messi

He holds the record for most goals in a calender year for a reason
Leading Assists - Alexander Beketov Trophy: John Cena

Hustle, Loyalty, Assist

Top Defenseman - Sterling Labatte Trophy: Dwight Howard

Blocks shots like Hiro Renomitsu
Top Goalie - Aidan Shaw Trophy: Sam Helberg

Narrowly beats HEL G here
Top Rookie - Christian Stolzschweiger Trophy: Jake Wylde

Got more points than any of the other rookies, definitely right here
Top Running Black - Ron Dayne III Trophy: Demi Lovato

Like, who else was I going to pick here? John Carpenter? 
Best Two-way Forward - Scott Boulet Trophy: Clay Aiken

Hasn't had a hit since 2012. This could be wrong, more likely to be Calvin Harris
Executive of the Year - David Knight Trophy: Tyler Barabash

Trades talent for S46 firsts, still makes playoffs, no brainer
Top Leader - Grimm Jonsson Trophy: Anderson

We are all Anderson
Most Sportsmanlike - Mikka Virkkunen Trophy: Edwin Encarnacion

This is his year.
Most Improved - Dustin Funk Trophy: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Entered the league with 0 TPE, now has 65. Percentages can't even numerate that much improvement.
