New prospect, Jordan Maverick, recently sat down for a quick interview after a demoralizing 3-0 defeat against the Saskatoon Wild.

Reporter: Jordan, you recently signed a contract this season in hopes to help turn around this team. How's it going?

Mavrick: Well obviously not great at this point. Though, I really came to Bern to play some top line minutes and get the experience needed to move forward in this league. Which is exactly what I'm getting. We're not winning right now and frankly I didn't really expect to.

Reporter: In tonight's game against Saskatoon, your team allowed a whopping 51 shots on goal, while the Royals only got 4... explain.

Maverick: Yeahhhh, haha that wasn't much fun. But what can you do? Saskatoon is hands down the best team in the league right now. They have fewer losses than we do wins. So when you play that type of team, games like this are going to happen. Now is that an excuse? No, I need to play, the team needs to play better. Price played an amazing game and we have to help him out way better than that. Considering our team's top line only 2 shots on goal the entire game... We gotta step it up.
