Max Mølholt will be entering the VHL this next season after a pretty solid campaign for the Saskatoon Wild, who are currently amidst a playoff run in the VHLM. Mølholt will be going directly to the Toronto Legion as a result of the GM Player Creation rule in the VHL, which means that he won't be going into the VHL Entry Draft. This will be my first player that won't be participating in the draft, which is one of the most exciting times in a player's career. However, this will also be the first time that I will be participating in the VHL Entry Draft as a General Manager. While I wish that I still had my original pick with the Toronto Legion (damn you Edgar), I'm excited to at least have one first round pick and some second rounders that could bring in some good future pieces for this franchise. This is the first step in a hopefully short rebuild, but we have a long way to go. Adding Mølholt without having to use a pick (although I did have to forfeit a 2nd) is a good value, especially considering that I likely would have went in the first round or so. That's the silver lining in this draft, but having a top selection would have sped up this rebuild process.
