Jordan Maverick's season is far over now. Let's just say Bern was not one of the top teams in the league this season. But, Jordan Maverick did gain a lot of positives thing from his first experiences in the VHLM. Bern was a team that he immediately jumped onto the first line and didn't look back. The management team welcome him in with open arms and was helpful right away. Maverick was able to play 31 games this past season. Let's look at the stats!

Games Played: 31

Goals: 9

Assists: 12

Points: 21

+/-: -29

PIM: 22

Hits: 87

Scoring 9 goals in a league in which Maverick was very overmatched is an accomplishment.

Same goes with adding in 12 assists as well. Maverick had some help on this team but not a ton.

This is where you can imagine the the terrible plus/minus ratio comes into play. If not for the terrific goaltending of Ryan Price, this may be a lot worse. 87 hits is modest for a power forward. But, at an average of 2.9 per game, Maverick would have been close to a 200 hit season.

Jordan Maverick looks forward to the upcoming S26 VHLM Draft and hopes to make his next team or possibly Bern a true contender next season!
