In just a few hours the young and talented prospects of the VHL's future will get their first taste of what it feels like to be a star in the league.  The taste?  The VHLM Dispersal Draft.  Saturated with Bern picks this year, this off-season's occurrence will be one of lesser excitement.  "Should one be drafted by the [bern] Royals, they would almost immediately have the best chance to hoist the Founder's Cup next season.  That's how skewed it is," one reporter explained.

 

However, as Vasteras could tell you after the Season 26 Dispersal Draft, Bern should not assume victory prior to achieving it.  After accumulating the first 16 picks in the draft, one of note due to its particular depth, Vasteras seemingly had nothing in its way en route to a 64-6-2 record (3rd highest VHLM point total at 130), however the Iron Eagles' minor league affiliate gave up the championship series in 7 games to the former Brampton Blades.
