stevo 795
Today, we're sitting down with World B. Free. The German defenseman is currently playing for the Moscow Red Wolves and is expected to declare for the S46 VHL draft sometime around this weekend. As we heard last week, he has just saved the world as well as his Red Wolves from a vigorous attack of Russia's president Vladimir Putin. Praised by fans as their new "lord and saviour", clear pronunciation on the latter, he finally responded to our interview request. Like it's usual with athletes, he also showed up 15 minutes late. Mr. Free, of course we have to start with the breaking news you created last week. Have you settled in, and what do you expect to happen next? Well, the adrenaline is still rushing through my body. It was a massive experience, I mean, dealing with his bear was just a minor coincidence for me, but the fight with him was extreme. I had to throw all my Kung Fu at him to win this thing in dramatic fashion after we battled on for hours... Excuse me, but all the reports speak of you knocking him out quickly and him being rather weak. Oh, uh, right. Yeah, it wasn't long before he caught my fade. Still knocked him out good though. Do you feel like you saved the franchise from its downfall? Yes. Actually, yes. I'm a hero. You know what's the best part about that? Living in Russia now, I'm getting partly paid with hard alcohol. Life's good. To change the topic, you're one part of the Red Wolves' first line. Are you having any expectations regarding this upcoming season? 100 points, and boning 2 cheerleader per game night. And I'm not joking here, I'm not settling for anything lesser than that. At the very least though, I'd like to just improve my game day by day. Right now, there are many glaring holes and I'll probably try to hone my defensive skills first, seeing how my line partner is offensively more proficient than I am. My game is not even close to playing in the VHL, that's why this year is all about just getting better. Looking forward to the VHL, are there any teams you'd like to play for? Well, personally I'm open for most teams. My agent has very good ties with Cologne, Cologne is my hometown that's why I'd say that the Express are my natural first option. I mean, playing for your hometown is always an honor and a pleasure. There is another team though that has contacted me already, saying that they might be interested in drafting me. I like their professional approach, I liked the concept their GM laid out to me - they obviously come in second. I'm not going to spoil this though. Oh, and the Chihuahua Hunters. I want to play for the god damned Chihuahua Hunters. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/24157-claimedwbf-interview-final-66/ Share on other sites
