sterling 2,000
Coming into the VHLM as the older sibling of a first overall draft pick can be a lot of pressure. Thankfully for Jeff Hamilton, the pressure provided a lot of opportunity for the young defenseman to shine this season with the Bern Royals. The offensively slick, puck-moving defenseman has been a revelation for the Bern Royals who are currently locked in a 2-2 tie with the Oslo Storm in the first round of VHLM playoffs. The defenseman notched 30 goals and over 100 points in his first campaign and is excitedly waiting for the S46 VHL Entry Draft. "I'm not sure when and where I'll be drafted here in a few weeks, but I'm looking forward to joining a big league roster and making an impact as a rookie. I think I've had a good season, but it helps to be playing with some of the best players in the league. These guys are making the plays, I'm just playing to their strengths and letting them get open. I think we stand a good chance this season in the playoffs, we're a close group," Hamilton said.
