Tagger 2,722
Been watching quite a few movies lately that used the concept of time travel (Watched Looper, Donnie Darko, Primer. Plan to watch Source Code and Predestination soon) after playing through the phenomenal Life is Strange video game series on PS4, so figured I'd write something about what I'd do if I had the ability to time travel solely through the VHL. - Warn people prior to the S35 Draft.about my impending inactivity: Only a bit before Edwin Encarnacion was drafted in S35, I'd picked up a really shitty shift at work which required that I go inactive just to focus on getting the hell out of it. It ended up working ok for the GM who drafted me since they were able to somehow manage to straight up swap me with someone taken in the same draft who'd been more active through the first half of the season in Brennan McQueen, but me warning Mike would have maybe triggered Riga drafting arguably the greatest defenseman of all time in Conner Low. - Been more thorough about getting a GM opportunity There was a time and a place where my activity was at a peak where I'd been interested in GMing a team (Between Season 41-Season 44). I think it would have been a cool thing to do during that time but ultimately right now, I don't care enough about the league to pursue a GMing opportunity. I could have used my time-travel powers to alert the Bears team that were so vocal about Bushito's dismissal in Season 42 that he would only go on to become inactive later on, which would allow me to take the job that I was in consideration for. Obviously there's a risk of a time paradox there though, so to be more discreet, I could have also used my time-travelling to pick up less TPE prior to the Season 44 draft, as my high TPE count worked against me in reapplying for the Seattle job in Season 44.
