After going an excellent -4 in the Top Prospects Game earlier this week, newly acquired Seattle Bear defenceman Jeff Hamilton has finally added some practice time toward defence. Hamilton asked Unknown Player to come in as a guest coach to Bears camp after going a league record +12 in the Team Porridge win. Unknown Player unfortunately was in attendance at training camp, but no one seen or heard from him. Regardless, Hamilton looks to add to his defensive play as his first VHL season begins. It is shaping up to be a blood bath for Seattle who will ice a team with three or four players on the roster as they build for the future.

"I figured I'd better become more sound in my own end as I'll be spending a lot of time back there this season. I'm looking forward to working with my former rival Mensk this season in Seattle and hopefully in the future we will become one of those elite defensive pairings," Hamilton said.
