Morgan who is in his fourth VHL season and second with the Meute is turning into a leader on and off the ice. Coming off a season that saw Morgan put up career highs in goals, assists, and points, more was expected from the young Canadian defenseman. Morgan has continued his progression in the twenty games he’s played this season putting up nine goals and eighteen assists to lead all defenseman in scoring. Morgan has been shooting lasers at the net all season long as well as he only sits behind New York Americans forward Golden Jedtsson in shooting percentage, with a 18.75 shooting percentage. With the Meute in the midst of a full on rebuild, Morgans top tier play this season has given the fans inside the Colisée Pepsi center something to cheer about.
