James Duthie:

This kid is a beauty here in the VHL. He's not quite on his A-game just yet, but what he currently brings to the table is a lot more than many other rookies have done. I think it's easy to look at Zach Parechkin and see a good future, and fans of Toronto's rivals should watch out for him heading forward. Maple Leafs fans can only be disappointed that he chose the VHL over the NHL.

Bob McKenzie:

I've watched this kid a ton through juniors, and throughout the VHL Minor system. Coming from the same agency that brought Travis Boychuk to the VHL, it's no surprise that he's having a good year as a rookie, since Boychuk won the Christian Stolzschweiger himself back in his day. He's got great composure out on the ice and amazing hockey IQ, especially this early on. For his favourite player being Alex Ovechkin, there are definitely similarities there.

Aaron Ward:

Parechkin brings a lot to the table for the Toronto Legion. Size, skill, speed, you name it. As far as the VHL is concerned, the rest of the league should watch out in the coming seasons. When you have a superb talent like Max Molholt centering you especially, it will be much easier for Zach Parechkin to get the room he needs out on the ice. Just like his idol Ovie, he can also create that room himself.

There you have it: TSN's analysts on world-class talent Zach Parechkin of the Toronto Legion. I had no idea what to do for this week's VHL.com article but it seems like this was easy enough. For those of you reading this far, go to hell.

"He's a good Canadian kid, God bless him, and I've seen a million of prospects in my time... and, you know what when I was on the Bruins we won things together.. and. What are you looking at me like that for? Well stop it! Anyway. What were we calling about? OH! OH! ZACH! He's a good Canadian kid and he'll do his country proud and mark my words that by the time he's 30, you won't need to hear his name from me! Zach Parekchin...Parrotkin... Parketin! A great Canadian kid!"
