Mercer Gets In Brawl

Cian Mercer hasn't been in Canada long and already he decided it would be beneficial to prove himself to the Canadian fans. As he arrived to the airport he was met by some raging nerd fans that really were almost trying to boycott his arrival. Being Irish, his fighting nature came out as Mercer would end up getting into a physical altercation with three of the young adults waiting for him. Police were called to the incident and Mercer was released shortly after being escorted out of the airport in handcuffs. The local newspaper in Ottawa interviewed him after the scuffle before the game, he had this to say:

"What a bunch of pansies they were, man. Just tryin' to hit up the airport to get to a game y'know? And what do these brats do? Of course try to pick a fight with the new guy, it's like they knew I was going to be there, pretty scary what these lads can do when you've got technology, they probably hacked me cell phone or something stupid like that just to get a piece of me. Well they got a piece of me, those handcuffs hurt more than their petty punches, their punches felt about as soft as a bunny rabbit, so childish mate. "

 

Mercer has been extremely impressive right now and is continuing to make strides in the right direction for being the best in the world. He has a long way to go, as he doesn't even have a full season to prove himself, but plans to start early as the playoffs begin very soon. As for the kids that attacked him, the names were hidden by police after the families begged them to not be released. Mercer again as stated in his quote laughed off the attack with humour and just hoped it didn't happen again, silly Canadian fans.
