Free no All Star

Well it's that time of the year again where the VHL gets close to the trading deadline. Every season, a huge influx of prospects that populates the VHLM thereafter. This time though, we get to see a welcoming change: The VHL league office has decided to move the annual All Star game from within the offseason to the midst of the regular season where these kind of events usually tend to happen. Now that this has been revealed, folks around the league are still guessing away as to where the All Star game will be located. More importantly though, the question arises which players will have the chance (or honor) to be featured in this storied tradition.

 

A guy with little to no chances is probably World B. Free, the Toronto Legion's sophomore defenseman. Free earned All Star honors last year, but with the way the Legion and more than that Free has presented himself as a total rip off of last year's form.

 

Still, here are ten convincing reasons why Toronto's World B. Free should have been elected as an VHL All Star anyway:

 

1- He can down lots of alcohol

If there's anything that makes him a fan favorite, Free can drink booze and hard alcoholic beverages right there with the very best of them. Born in Germany, he basically bleeds and breathes beer (aside from the fact that his eau de cologne is beer) and that makes up for some interesting stories.

 

2- He has been All Star as a rookie

See, that isn't a real reason because I can't think of anything to back this up. This is just plain bullshit, but it would've been fun to be an All Star both as a rookie and as a sophomore.

 

3- He skipped the VHLM

You know how tough he is? Well I tell you, he is super tough. So tough that he decided to forgo his second full VHLM season in order to chat shit with the fellas in the pro league. There aren't many that are this tough.

 

4- He is the hero the VHL needs

Well actually scratch that, he is neither the hero that the VHL needs nor deserves. If World B. Free would be any kind of hero, you know what's wrong with this planet.

 

5- He's smarter than Donald Trump

The average kitchen sponge is smarter than Donald Trump is, so once again I'm not sure if it's much of a positive side for him.

 

6- He needs the attention

In the end, it's always those left out that want in. This time, the case isn't much different. You aspire to be what you can't be.

 

7- I don't even have 10 reasons

Yeah, there you have it.
