After being back home in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Unassisted caught up with the TSN Crew for it's Overdrive show, for a candid interview. While the ex-Leafs Lunch threesome does not regularly cover the VHL, having two of the top five prospects coming from the Greater Toronto Area, has the boys talking.

 

Unassisted was asked a number of questions that covered his choice to play in the VHL over NHL, his season with Yukon and fellow Torontonian Black Velvet, and of course his name. While those answers were rather interesting, especially the late-night poutine run Black Velvet took on their trip to Ottawa during their playoff series, there was another question that has some people talking. Unassisted was asked near the end of the interview where he would prefer to play and his response has had a few people talking..

 

"I've had a lot of teams talk to me, and the general impression is that if I'm there, they'll take me... Well, I want a team to sack-up and make a statement. I'm not some second-tier prospect, I'm a game changer. I'm not here to fall into the lap of some team, I want to be their number one option. I've been contacted by teams all in all different draft positions, but none have stood out as the franchise who wants to build around me.

 

I'm here to make 9 other teams regret not going all in on me.."
