Black Velvet was going to take some time off from the hockey grind to start his off-season, but he was met with rejection. After the defeat to Ottawa in game seven, Velvet booked a flight to Georgia on his phone while still in the locker room with the rest of his defeated Yukon teammates. He arrived in Georgia on Friday night and was set to hit the Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday morning for a 9:30 tee time.

When he arrived for his round of golf, the security team at Augusta promptly denied Black Velvet access to the club house. B.V. tried to explain the situation, but the security was making it clear they wanted him to leave immediately. Lucky for us a fellow golfer was recording the whole thing and uploaded it to YouTube for all of us to watch.

Black Velvet - "30 points in 11 games in the playoffs? Yukon Rush?"

Security - "Sir, you have to leave"

Black Velvet - "Fuck you and fuck Augusta, next time I see you I'll have you personally fired"

Security - "Don't make us call the police"

Black Velvet - *flips security the bird while squealing the tires of his rented BMW*

We aren't sure why B.V. was denied access to the course, but he was spotted at the Georgia airport an hour later wearing sunglasses and a hoodie. He boarded a flight back home to Toronto. On Sunday he was seen practicing with the Toronto Marlies, the AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
