Unfortunately for them, they're coming off two straight losses and haven't strung together two wins in the last 6 games. This wouldn't be as big a deal, but the Royals have strung together two or more game win streaks only five times this season, with a high of four wins in a row. Their losing streaks have come more frequently, totaling seven instances of two or more games, including five-game, six-game and eight-game losing skids.

 

Troubling signs for a team that's heading to the playoffs based solely on the ineptitude of Moscow, who were eliminated two weeks into the season.
