Well, it has been a strange week for the Riga Reign to say the least. Lots of stuff happening in the sim varying from us getting absolutely destroyed by some top teams to shutting out the Seattle Bears in a surprise victory to say the least. 

Lots of work still has to be done of course. We’re a young team and expected that things would not be easy for us this season at all, to the point where it was just safe to assume that we would not be anywhere close to the playoffs. That’s the surprising thing about this season, we are. We could very well be a playoff team this season in the weakest state that the European conference has been in quite some time, but damn we’ll take it.

With Jory Rose being the best inactive pick-up ever, and with Jordan maverick tearing it up, the Reign still have a shot at this thing. With some work on the lines and some more communication from a slumping team due to a busy time in the year for us bunch, we could definitely make a run for the European playoffs. We’ve seen crazy things happen in the post-season, there’s no reason that Riga can’t be another one of those crazy things.
