Tixe 20
Far from what I am capable of, I have never worked with a cartoon render before. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/31021-sterling-archer-530-22/ Share on other sites
Commissioner Beketov 9,095 Posted June 6, 2016 Commissioner Share Posted June 6, 2016 This is definitely different and cartoon renders are definitely hard to work with. The colours look a little crazy but I think that kinda works in a way on this one. Lighting is iffy but realistic lighting on that render wouldn't work anyway. The text is my main concern. The font choices are odd, the positioning is distracting and they are over-blended. Archer's animation style has very defined strokes on the edges so I think text trying to utilize that style might have looked good on this piece. 701 309
Text is very basic, and you could have went a million different ways for a cleaner effect. The stock you have over the whole signature drowns out the image, and holds this thing back.
