The Bears have gone through much change since I first took over the helm. We've gone completely North to South on the contender compass and are now a team that's currently progressing through a rebuild. It wasn't easy to steer the ship this direction, but I felt it was best to fold the hand we had and cash out with the pot in front of us. We gave it our best last season and you know, under different circumstances it would have been different. Thankfully, that was last season and what last season started was a frame and mindset for the Bears organization. We have a long term plan in place, followed by an entire core of players who are extremely loyal and dedicated to this process. Due to this fact, it made it very easy to make a decision this season.

Yeah, we here you. "He can't be an assistant. He's a goalie". Well, we here in Seattle don't really give a shit what your mouth has to complain about. Whether it's legit in the simulation or not, we also don't care. These roles are for strong figures in the locker room and outside of it. Beketov has continued to display strong commitment and loyalty to the Bears organization. I'm extremely proud and pleased to know that such a great goalie and person will one day be leading us to a new playoff birth and championship opportunity. @Beketov

Another very deserving member. He's great around the graphics and has done some fine work for us! Along with that, he's been a loyal budd and truly shocking development for the VHL. Numerous of General Manager claimed AK-47 wasn't going to become anything, yet I look at my roster and see a player with 300+ TPE if not mistaken. We're glad to have gambled on you - we knew you were medium risk - high reward. Additionally, a very strong presence in the LR and one of my first and strongest pieces to the future. @701

This should honestly come at no surprise.. but the S50 Bears Captain...

:sea:BOGDAN PODAROK!:sea:

Podarok's and my relationship goes back a few seasons and championships and we've always had some sort of winning streak in us. Of course, this year we're taking a break from it but you can't win them all. Aside from the fact he's got an excellent player on his hands, he's a huge - likable presence within the VHL community, our LR and a GM in the VHLM. He's our strongest youth asset currently and we feel 100% confident in him being that. Podarok will have a long and healthy career here and depending on the longest captaincy reign, Podarok may just achieve that (note, Poddy just signed a 5 yr extension). @ADwyer87
