The VHL opened up the off-season this past week after the Toronto Legions three-peat, a usually uneventful week with free agency kicking things off. This season things appear different with one of, if not the best ever free agent class on the market currently. From 1,000 TPE players to players with barley enough TPE to play outside the minors, every franchise has the ability to change the make-up of their franchise this off-season. Here are some of the free-agents that should be showing up on every franchises radar.

 C - Aleksi Koponen

If you`re looking for a championship caliber center, than Koponen is a must have for your franchise. Koponen will be looking to possibly add a third stop on his VHL tour before his time in the league is done after Season Fifty-Two.

G - Greg Clegane

A record breaking goalie that doesn`t have a ton of options but will take high caliber play no matter where he ends up. Clegane has the league record for best goals against average, which is an amazing feat with VHL records very rare falling after 50 years of existence.

D - Jeff Hamilton

Hamilton comes from a line of impressive players that are currently playing in the big leagues in the VHL. Hamilton isn`t around as much as he use to be, but would be a solid addition to anyone’s defensive corps
