League Leaders

Six games have come and gone in Season Fifty-One in the VHL and the names of the leagues tope players have started their climb up the leagues leaderboard. Today we’ll look at the early leaders in some important categories.

Goals:

Zach Parechkin looked around the Legion dressing room this season and noticed a few missing pieces and a few new faces. The career Legion member is coming off three consecutive Continental Cups, but this season might be the biggest in terms of what might be expected out of the Season Forty-Six draftee. Parechkin currently finds himself at a point per game pace, with eight goals in the teams’ six games. Parechkin will look to keep up the torrid pace and try to help catapult the team back into the finals once again.

Assists:

Black Velvet is playing nice with his new teammates in the Alberta capital.  The Wranglers defenseman has been on fire this season putting up fourteen assists in the teams six games. Much was expected out of the big four that signed in Calgary during the off-season, and Velvet seems to be doing his best to meet those standards.
