Xander Finn Declares for the VHL in Season 53

Legendary agent Kyle Snow comes out of retirement to represent Finn

October the 20th seemed like an ordinary day at VHL Headquarters. @Draper and @Higgins were planning a weekend slumber party, @JardyB10 didn’t show up until 3pm, drunk, and @Victor was busy scheming ways to wrestle control back from the Blue Team. The entire league was going about its business until they heard the front doors get kicked in and a familiar voice filled the halls.

Kyle Snow, a former icon in the VHL had not been seen for over a year. Many rumours circled about his whereabouts, but nobody outside of @Advantage and @Mr. Power had heard from him in that time (outside of a 45 second pajodcast segment experts claimed had been doctored). Some said he was dead, some said he had sold out and gone corporate and some said he had ascended to a non-corporeal form. Shortly after returning he made this public statement:

“Ladies and gentlemen, I have returned to you like the second coming of Jesus Christ. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and while he chose to wait three days I wanted a little more fondness than that. Reflect inward, and you’ll find that deep in your heart you missed me. I have grown a lot by spending some time out in the real world for once. My merciless trolling of children is behind me (except maybe in the Thunderdome), and I mostly just make outdated memes that show my age.

Now if you’re wondering, when I say I’ve returned I mean it. I abandoned Jax Barnstormer to the coma he foolishly found his way into and have found some new blood to bring to the league. May I present to you, for the very first time, Xander Finn.

Finn just graduated from the Daniel Braxton School of Hockey, an institution I obviously have a lot of faith in. Daniel personally recommended the young talent to me, and after a bit of scouting I wholeheartedly agree with his assessment. I have the same faith in Finn as I did in Wesley Kellinger before him, and even Braxton himself. Finn will be entering the Season 53 draft, and I expect him to have a fruitful career under my tutelage.”

After a short Q&A session Snow turned the media to Finn, who made a statement of his own.

“I am truly honoured to be associated with this agency. Mr. Snow has a history of success, and I only hope I can live up to the legacy of his first two players. Daniel Braxton was the greatest defenseman of his era, and Wesley Kellinger was a champion in his own right. I have a lot to prove if I want to be remembered the same way they were. I plan to put my full effort into improving each week, and with the knowledge of this agency behind me I have a very good chance to succeed.”

There are still a few uncertainties around Finn as a player, but if he’s anything like his predecessors we can be certain that he is worth looking into. Nobody knows what other motives Snow may have, but he has traditionally been very good at making players while he fulfills them.
