Molholt 2,185
Die Domi has no idea what is going on. With his draft stock, at least. It all starts with the current teams in the VHL, the ones who have the opportunity to draft him. One might expect to hear from some of them to gauge his interest - that has not been the case for Domi, as he doesn't even know who all the GMs are in the pro league. That's the first sign that his transition to the big leagues might not go smoothly, or that his drafting could put him on the wrong foot with his future team. In terms of practice hours, Domi is a middle of the pack prospect. He sits about 9th in overall hours, but even still there are some high profile draftees below him that are also eligible. The latest round of projections from the experts typically put Domi in the 7th to 8th range, regarding first round picks. The league's official scouting service, the VHLSC has Domi going 8th to the New York Americans, with a potential for him to go higher - they don't expect him to fall beyond that point. On paper, Domi could go even lower. His production at the VHLM level has been anything but spectacular, as he struggled to find points and the stat sheet during his time in the minor league. We haven't seem him do enough to get a good gauge on where he is headed with his skillset, so he could really turn into just about any type of player - or he could fizzle out and never make it to the VHL. As of right now, we don't know, and maybe neither does Domi. evrydayimbyfuglien and DollarAndADream 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/35298-domis-draft-stock-uncertain/ Share on other sites
