Despite falling to 14th overall, upcoming left-winger John Locke told reporters he was pleased with the results of thee S52 VHLM Dispersal Draft which saw him go to the Ottawa Lynx. A later entry to the draft class, Locke was passed over in favor of more developed prospects but scouts are reporting that they expect his future to be bright and time will tell if he becomes the steal of the draft for Ottawa.

Locke is joined in Ottawa by other high profile rookies from agencies with ties to the Draper agency which represents Locke, such as Jacob, Franchise Cornerstone, and Motherfucker Sharpe. Several new agencies have sprouted up over the past few weeks and Ottawa reaped the benefits of those as well, drafting players like Legubrious Tucker, Joshua Delisle, and Thomas Syndergaard.

Indeed, Ottawa will be putting forth a strong team to contend in Season 52, the first season after major changes to the VHLM were announced by league management. The Moscow Red Wolves organization has been folded and not replaced, bringing the league down to 7 teams. The traditional North American and European Conferences have been scrapped and all 7 teams will fall under one World Conference. Only one team will miss the playoffs under this new system, and so obviously Ottawa has little worry about in that regard.

For Locke and the rest of the Lynx players under the leadership of renowned general manager JardyB10, they are a top team with high hopes but they won't have a free ride as will certainly face competition on a number of fronts. With the changes to the structure of the league and the influx of players to the VHLM resulting from the Project Player 2 as well as recent recruiting successes, I believe this will be an exciting season for the minor leagues. We can be sure players like Locke will be working hard all season to prove themselves ahead of the S53 VHL Entry Draft which is shaping up to be a good one.

The Draper agency's other big name, Aleksi Koponen, is set to begin his last season in the VHL as a member of the Calgary Wranglers where he will contend in a tight North American conference expected to be a nailbiter. Koponen will be joined in Calgary by most of the same people who were there last year, although the loss of Unassisted, who had been with Koponen for the past 3 seasons, will surely be an adjustment for him.

Jill Stein will #MAGA. Donald Trump is a freak on twitter. Justin Trudeau is really Castro's son. What a world we live in.
