After getting picked up off waivers by the Yukon Rush, Marcus Bjorkstrand is getting anxious to play in his first game with the team. He has practiced with the team twice now, and the coach says he is fitting in very nicely and is ready to play his first game. One thing Marcus stated that he wanted to improve on was his physical game coming into a league where he knows puck battles are going to be harder. Making the transition from junior hockey to Pro can always be tough for any player but, Marcus says he is ready. It will be interesting to see how he does in his first couple games in the league. Marcus says he has no pressure coming into the season, because there isn’t very much hype about him. He is supposed to play the next game with Yukon on the third line but, doesn’t know who his line mates are yet.
