Fook Yu Joins Oslo

What a start to a career, not yet 24 hours into signing his VHLM eligibility for the Brampton Blades and he has already been shipped off to a new team. In fact he had not even left the airport in Hong Kong yet when a call came from his agent indicating that his flight was changing as he would now be headling to Oslo, Norway to join the Storm.

 

"Yeah it was definitely a weird start to my pro hockey experience, I mean the ink had probably not even been dry yet on the contract I bet and I was already changing teams. I was thankfully prepared for the weather, Brampton from what I hear can get pretty cold so I had the necessary clothes and items to help me settle into an rental in Norway. I'm pretty excited about this, its going to be a brand new experience and hopefully this will make me better in the long run."

 

Yu joins a Oslo team sitting currently 4th in the VHLM with a 28-12-2 season sofar that features possibly the best defenseman in the league, Xander Finn currently ranked 3rd in the upcoming VHL draft and top prospect right wing Brock Dragonslayer. Yu figures to bring some center depth down the middle for their upcoming playoff run.
