Saskatoon struggles

Saskatoon has struggled of late, and in this trade deadline week the GM has failed to get any players to sign with him. Why is this? Well, there have been a few developments that have made it hard for him.

 

first of all, the team's GM has not done his best to pitch to the free agents. GM Podarok takes full responsibility for this, and says that lately he has not been doing his job to the best of his abilities. "Lots of things in my personal life have affected me and I have let them affect me more than I should" Podarok said, "I apologize to the fans and the players."

 

another reason is an odd anomaly, the GMs PMs have ceased to work.  It is the reason he didn't message eaglesfan, the reason he had to try and recruit banackock in the Seattle LR, and the reason he hasn't done his Christmas giveaway yet even though he has all the answers yet. Podarok thinks this is because the VHLM don't want him to succeed

 

Next, this was because of the amount of contenders. Last year, Saskatoon was one of three competitors, and was clearly the frontrunner. This year there are 5 contenders and all teams are very close together, with Sasky in the middle of the pack. With less 2nd players available as well, this hurts them a lot.

 

and lastly, it was the influx of these damn goalies! Sasky already has two goalies, and don't need these stupid recreates.

Exactly my thoughts when I had 0-7 in player recruitment.
