Phil 5,119
So when I created Shankly, I was so happy and excited with the prospect of creating another super-scoring forward. My past two players were defenders so I was definitely ready for a change. I expected Shankly to score, however, unfortunately for me, I was drafted to the deepest team in the league, which meant less minutes, more skill, and therefore way less likely to score. Even still... Shakly's points production is ridiculously low. However, as the end of his first season approaches, he seems to have excelled in a category I never would have expected: Getting Hit. You all know that I think people are idiots for overlooking the HTT in the boulet voting, top defensemen, and other awards. When coupled as a ratio with HITS, it shows how many opportunities for giveaways and takeaways that the individual creates. This is soooooooo necessary, since the STHS does not track that with this engine. That being said, Shankly has in his first 61 games got 271 hits!! Good for 5th in the league! But most astonishingly, he's only been hit 32 times!! That's fantastic! It means every game he hits an average of 4.4 players and only gets hit once every 2 games. Given that I have decided that I want to retain this sort of player build. So fuck points production, I want to smash and not be smashed! Yeah but the fact that I'm a sexy Russian goal scorer means I get to smash more than you Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/36653-frankly-shankly-is-dankly/#findComment-400741 Share on other sites
