Though he is a vocal member of the Seattle Bears on the ice, in the locker room and outside in the "real world", Sven Wolf keeps to himself when it comes to time with the media. While his name does make headlines in Seattle and around the league, and is often a part of the articles written mostly for dishing the nice passes to the beauty of a finish, very few interviews have actually surrounded around one of the top centers in the VHL. Since he entered the league, only a single, official interview has been held with him where he actually sits down and answers multiple questions that does not follow a practice or game type situation. Earlier today, we jumped the fence at Wolf's private lake lot where he spends his off days, knocked on the door and gave the guy a good surprise. Let's take a look, shall we?

VHL Reporter (VR): Ding dong, we found you Mr. Wolf. No more hiding, time to answer some questions for the media and for the fans to get to know one of the up and coming centers in the league.

Sven Wolf (SW): I figured you'd eventually keep up to me and we'd finally meet. Figured I'd be able to make it to my final season and make it my first and last interview (he jokes. HAHA). Though, I don't have much time. Got a tee time with Holik, Podarok and Zach Parechkin in 20 minutes and Jakab get's irritated when we're late.

VR: Let's just to it. By the way, nice boxers. First question. What's it feel like to potentially be one of the truest formed passers in the league? A majority of players go after training their scoring, yet you go with passing and with 19 assists in 15 games, it's evident what you base your game around.

SW: Yeah. From a young age it was my idea to become a strong passer because in a majority of leagues, especially the VHL, a lot of players like to score more than pass. Than you got the ones who can't make up their mind a do a little bit of both but very rarely do you see a player who is strictly and foremost a play making forward. I got 19 assists in 15 games and only 5 goals. I like setting up the big play and watching my boys finish (gross).

VR: What do you think of the teams play so far this season?

SW: Podarok is on pace for like 153 points or something with Maximoff, Parechkin and Hamilton not far behind him at all. I'm pretty sure all those guys are also near the top of the league for offensive production and its absolutely killer to see. Some of those guys have had a lot of success and others, I've played beside and have watched them grow into what they are now. Podarok keeps breaking out and getting better and it's really awesome to see!

VR: You didn't mention Holik. What are your thoughts on him?

SW: Shaky, maybe slightly. He's had his good games, his great games and bad games like any other goalie but overall, he's doing good for us. A couple shaky, off nights and shit but the league is weird. Goalies you didn't think to lead the league are and that's just how the cookie crumbles. We know exactly what Holik can do and does for us on a nightly basis. Without him, we wouldn't be where we are. Secretly, I think he's just saving himself for marriage... I mean playoffs.

VHL reporter goes on his phone to text his studio. Sven Wolf creeps over to see the text and it reads "OMG CARL. Jakab Holik is still a virgin and is saving himself for marriage. This is BIG NEWS, I tell you. BIG! Front page tomorrow morning! - Bobby Dick

VR: Unfortunately, I have to head out Sven so we'll have to cut your first ever interview short. Just got some big news from the office and it's an emergency. Best of luck the rest of the way and until we meet again!
