A newspaper reporter has been able to get in contact with Boychuk to get his thoughts on the matter: " I'm excited to join the Lynx and look forward to helping the team with their success. They have some good pieces on the team and I'm thrilled to move past juniors into a bigger league. I am positive that I will be an asset to the team and have a strong contribution to the organization. It has truly been a long road to get here and I want to do my country proud. First and foremost, I want to improve my skills as much as I get and get as many minutes that I can as well. The main goal is to help the team with the big picture and maybe catch the eye of the scouts up above. " It remains to be seen what lies ahead for Travis Boychuk, and the future is looking bright.
