DollarAndADream 3,357
Boeser Nation After declaring for the VHLM in just this off-season, there is a stud forward who has been impressing with flying colours. Bo Boeser was drafted in the VHLM Dispersal Draft to the Saskatoon Wild, and has not looked even slightly out of place. Throughout the first 6 games of their season so far, Bo has scored 7 goals already. Over a goal per game pace, he is 2nd in the VHLM in that category. He also has 8 assists and a total of 15 points, which is 3rd in the league in points. This is only behind two of the Las Vegas Aces' players, who are obviously known as the best team in the league. All Bo Boeser wanted to do right off the jump was not look lost out there, and he has accomplished that and much more. He has 53 shots in 6 games, which is 3rd in the VHLM in that area. Although we are only 6 games into it, Boeser is playing like the best centerman in the VHLM. He has 15 points, and the next best center is from his own team, Carlo Capitulo, with 8. Even Las Vegas' best center is Rask Rowe with 5 points, being stacked on the wings, and weak down the middle. Boeser's points per 20 minutes is 2nd best in the VHLM at 1.74. An area which might surprise some is shot blocking. He is 4th in the league with 14, while the best in the VHLM, Trazan Apansson is only three up with 17. --------------------------- --------------------------- Bo Boeser is currently riding a 6 game point streak, but with all of that offense brings a target to his back. He has taken the second most hits in the VHLM, with 32. Things are definitely getting rough out there for him as he establishes himself as one of the premier players league-wide. Notable Games Game 7 vs. Ottawa Lynx In a game which the Wild lost 5-4, Boeser managed to put up 4 goals. The Lynx heavily outshot the Wild in this one, 58 shots to 24, including 19 to 3 in the 3rd period alone. Bo Boeser scored a goal in every period, including 2 in the 2nd frame. 11 of Saskatoon's 24 shots came from Boeser, who was clearly carrying his squad. Ultimately, the Wild and Bo Boeser lost this one, which had a lot to do with Luigi De Rossi's hat trick for Ottawa. Saskatoon's Chet Manley saved 53 of 58 shots, and this one could have been a lot worse without that stat. Game 9 vs. Yukon Rush In a win against the Yukon Rush, Boeser had a lot to do with the score. In the 1st period, Bo opened it with a powerplay goal at the 12:17 mark. Then only a few minutes later, Bo Boeser fed Recreate God a pass that he scored on, which brought the game to 2-0 to end the frame. In the 2nd period, Yukon outshot Saskatoon 10-5, but it went scoreless. It wasn't until over halfway past the middle of the 3rd where Yukon finally put themselves on the board. Apollo Aho scored to bring the game to 2-1, but the Wild were quick to fix that. At 17:02, Carlo Capitulo scored a goal off a Bo Boeser pass to bring the game to 3-1. 26 seconds later, Capitulo scored again from Boeser, which brought the game to 4-1 for Saskatoon, and it would end that way. Yukon outshot Saskatoon 34-17, and with a big game from goaltender Chet Manley and star forward Bo Boeser, they were able to win it. Boeser had 4 points in the win. Gudnason 607
Not fitting in with the sense his TPE level is clearly higher than other centers. You are actually doing way better than I imagine and will give Ottawa a good run for 2nd I suppose Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/39430-claimed-boeser-fitting-right-in/#findComment-431073 Share on other sites
