Forsberg? You sure?

Peter Forsberg was almost a household name to hockey fans when he was around playing. In fact, you head on over to Sweden and mention the name and I betcha most will still remember the legacy he left himself with the game of hockey. This persona is not so much happening right now for relative Mattias Forsberg in the Victory Hockey League. Though he is priding himself in currently being a 2-way forward who is big on winning face offs, he needs to do more to help his team win. Though he is sporting a high FO% of 64.53, his offensive production is lacking strongly.

 

With 9 points in 19 games, the media asked Forsberg "How do you feel with your play so far?"

 

In all reality, it is what it is. I feel as though the season is a struggle and currently am finding it difficult to adapt. Minus 10 is extremely discouraging and my points production is very similar. Sure, face offs are rolling but that was almost a given. Going to have to focus more on the offensive side of things. Not happy at all and am expecting management to make some moves.
