Trombone Leading The Way

While it was expected that Las Vegas would dominate the VHLM landscape this season, it wasn’t really known who would lead them to the promise land. Although the Aces had the first three picks in the draft the three players they picked had little VHLM experience, leaving what they were fully capable up in the air. As we await the games to start shortly in the VHLM, the Aces have been everything and more during the twenty-one games they have played in and won.

 

Leading the way offensively for the new VHLM club is HC Davos Dynamo property, Rusty Trombone. So far in the twenty-ones games, Trombone has showed off quite the balanced game putting up twenty-five goals and twenty-five assists, which leads the entire VHLM. Trombone has a terrible start to his career with the Brampton Blades last season after being claimed near the trade deadline, but this season he has shown flashes of what might be in the VHL.
