Quebec City goaltender Apollo Skye and forward Lukas Muller Celebrate their playoff clinching victory over the Seattle Bears

QUEBEC CITY, Canada - The Quebec City Meute have officially become the first team of the S54 season to clinch a berth into the post-season. Their clinch came after defeats of the Stockholm Vikings and Seattle Bears, 3-0 and 3-2 respectively. The team is being led offensively by star forwards Lukas Muller and Pierre Gaudette, whilst their defensive core is being led by the resurgence of Titan Kronos, a place who actually sat out the entire last season. It's actually quite a marvel that Kronos sat out all of last year but yet is currently most likely leading the Labatte Trophy race. Before the season started, many pundits pegged the Americans to run away with the North American conference, however the Meute sprinted out of the gate and have not looked back since; currently they sit 7 points ahead of the Americans for 1st place, and don't look to be showing any signs of slowing down. The playoff picture in both conferences appears clear, with the only plausible race being for the honor of getting destroyed by the Americans or Meute in the first round of the playoffs; that race is being led by the Toronto Legion, although the Calgary Wranglers and Seattle Bears are not too far behind.
