Advantage 2,891
"This isn't the first time I've been through a loss to a rival. When I was GM of the Americans, we had some tough ones to Riga and to other teams as well. It is never easy to lose when you expect so much more. After our regular season, I thought we had an easy run into the finals. Especially, given how we started our series against the Helsinki Titans. These were foolish expectations of course, given how talented Helsinki is, but it just seemed almost like destiny. It was of course, destiny that the Titans would overcome the odds and beat us in six. That team has a bright present and future, as we do. Therefore, there is no reason to keep our heads down. We need to reload, take aim and come back for vengeance. That's all you can do in this league. If you hang your head too much, you will never come back. Look at Helsinki last year. They had a tough loss to us in the playoffs, and they came back even after having a sub-par season by their standards, and took care of business. We have to do the very same thing." - For Lane Will 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/40625-miller-disappointed-in-loss-to-rival/ Share on other sites
